CanWork has dedicated and well trained job coaches that are exceptional at supporting persons that identify as having a disability to advocate for their needs and can mediate between all parties to ensure everyone is set up for success.

What's Next?

We can meet you where you are at. The process could start as soon as you onboard one of our CanWork participants for a work term. We will set up an initial meeting with all parties involved to develop an accommodation plan that works for everyone involved. Did you know that the majority of people who identify as having a disability or mental health challenges do not require accommodation but benefit from a supportive environment?  

 

The process can also be reversed, our team is more than happy to consult with employers that demonstrate a willingness to hire students with diverse needs but are not sure where to start. We can support you and your team in assuring you have the right processes in place to create an inclusive environment right from the onboarding process to the end of the work term.
